Mervin Bass
Mervin Bass, 42, of Route 7, Georgetown, died suddenly today in the Norwalk hospital.
Mr. Bass was employed by the State Highway department.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Bruschi Bass; a son, Robert, and a daughter, Joan, of Georgetown; six brothers, George Russell, Orin and Kenneth Bass of Danbury; Charles Bass of Plantsville and Clifford Bass of Bethel; his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. George Bass of New Fairfield and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Webb, of Danbury.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Bouton Funeral home, Georgetown, with the Rev. William Kinaman, pastor of the Gilbert Memorial church, officiating. Burial will be in Hillside cemetery, Wilton.
The Bouton Funeral home will be open Saturday afternoon and evening.
