Proud and loving grandfather of Bryan and Ellyn. Fred was defeated by his illness in spite of his valiant efforts. There is no replacement for the glow of his smile and the warmth of his love. Caring brother of Sid (Ann) Bass, Charlotte (Bob) Seeley and the late Joe (Pat) Bass. Dearest uncle of many loving nieces and nephews. Special brother-in-law of Al (Jewel) Baker. Memorial service Monday, 10 a.m., at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights.
