  Notes	Suffolk News-Herald, Virginia, 4 January 1992 Henry M. Bass Henry McGee Bass of 1510 Freeney Ave., died Jan. 2, 1992. A native of Powellsville, N.C., he was the son of the late Boston Bass and Mamie L. Sessoms Bass. He had retired in 1976 from the Auburn Comprehensive School System. He was a member of East End Baptist Church, its Deacon Board and several church committees. Bass was a member of the Rosemont-Lloyd Place Civic League, the American Chemical Soceity, the Epsilon Iota Lambda Chapter of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Survivors include his wife, Katie Geneva Lea Bass; and a daughter, Lynda DeLories Bass. The funeral will be conducted Monday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Mark A. Croston. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Crocker Funeral Home is in charge of arragenments. The body will be placed in the church Monday by 1:30 p.m.
