Terry Bass, a beloved mother and grandmother was born in Perry, Georgia on October 06, 1956 to the parentage of the late Autman and Ellen Tharpe Bass. She attended the public schools of Houston County. Terry accepted Christ as her Lord and personal Savior several years ago. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed doing so for family and friends.
Death is a joyful message of peace whose kind hand open to the weary, the gate of immortality and let the soul go free. Life came to a close for the late Terry Bass on Thursday, September 23, 2025, when God called her from labor to get her reward.
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know." (John 14:1-4 KJV)
Her memory will forever be cherished by her children: A'Brina Mitchell (Carlos, Sr.) and Montavious Bass (Chantel); brothers, Carey Joe Bass (Faith) and Johnnie Lee Bass; sister, Betty Jean Primus (Henry); grandchildren, Carlos Mitchell, Jr. and La-Ontra Bacon; devoted cousins, Audrey Diane Davis and Carol Jean Ridley; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
