  Notes	Find-a-Grave Obituary Chara Canielle Richards Wood Former Gillette resident Chara Wood, 42, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017, at her home in Greybull from unknown causes. She was laid to rest in the Greybull cemetery next to her father, Clayton Richards. Chara was born April 26, 1974, to Clayton and Donna (Swain) Richards. Her short time on earth was a blessing to all she knew, and she touched so many lives. Chara loved her family, camping, the Big Horn Mountains and just being outside. She married Jody Wood in Gillette on July 1, 1999. She had her daughter, Shaelyn, on Feb. 9, 1995, and her son, Clayton (Bubba), on April 10, 1999. She simply adored her family. They were her pride and joy. There are no words to describe this devastating loss. Chara is survived by her husband, Jody Wood; children, Shaelyn and Clayton Wood of Casper; sister, Dena Crabtree of Sheridan; mother and stepfather, Donna (Swain) and Ron Cossette of Keyhole; best friend, Joni Hansen of Greybull; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Clayton Richards; paternal grandparents, Dave and Hazel Richards; and maternal grandparents, Bud and Lucille Swain.
