Mr. Bass was a retired farmer and a member of the Marshfield Assembly of God Church. Surviving are two sons, Harley, of 848 South Newton, Springfield, and Walter of Carmichael, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Eunice Burns, 2724 East Commercial, Springfield, Mrs. Trressie Fain, 2416 North Park, Springfield, Mrs. essie Hudgens, Route 2, Conway, nad Mrs. Vera Bradshaw, Tulsa, Okla; one half-brother, Lee Pitchford, Hartville; one half-sister, Mrs. Hattie Clair, Mountain Grove; 22 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Arrangements will be announced by Barber-Edwards-Arthur of Marshfield.
