  Notes	Palmyra Enterprise, August 23, 1906 Isaac Newton Turner Isaac N. Turner was born in Mass., July 17, 18925. When he was four years old his father moved to Geneva, Ohio where Isaac grew and was employed on the lakes as a sailor. On Aug. 5, 1951 he married Lucinda E. Wood of Geneva. In 1854 he came with his family to Palmyra where he worked on the railroad and at the shoemaker trade. In 1858 he moved to Missouri where he resided until the outbreak of the Civil war. He went to serve in the war and his family returned to Palmyra. In 1880 he moved to Baraboo where he was employed by the Northwestern Railroad. During his residence in Baraboo his wife died (1889). In 1901 he went to the Wis. Veteran?s Home in Waupaca where he died Aug. 8, 1906. Two children were born to them, Asaph Hiram of Milwaukee and Lucy T. Bassett of Baraboo. He was a member of I.O.O.F and Grand Encampment.
