Jason Ryan ?J-Bug? Bass, 38, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 18, 2021. J-Bug was born on December 22, 1982, in Panama City. He loved to fish and ride motorcycles (the faster the better). Above all, he loved his family. J-Bug was always full of laughter. He so enjoyed life and loved his girls unconditionally. J-Bug was always a hard worker. Everyone who knew him loved him. J-Bug was proceeded in death by grandparents, David and Flora Bass and Hayes and Joan Markham; special aunt, Bonita ?B.B.? Bass Davis; and uncles, Ray Davis and Walter Holley. Those who are left to cherish his memory include daughters, Kinsley Ann Bass and Brailey Jean Bass; father, Phillip Bass; stepmother, Sheila Bass; mother, Barbara Markham; brother and best friend, Phillip Bass, Jr.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A funeral service will take place on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home, with Pastor Sandy Yates and pastor Bobby Carnley officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Lynn Haven Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Robbie Bass, Rodney Caudill, Chris Davis, Ryan Caudill, Mason Caudill and Canaan Caudill. Honorary Pallbearer is Richie Caudill.
