She was a native of Sampson County and was a member of Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church. She was a teacher in the beginners? class for a number of years. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Shady Grove Church by the Rev. C.F. Bowen and the Rev. james G. Snypes. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Theodore Bass; two brothers, Wildon and Osby Hinson, both of Route 2, Newton Grove; three sisters, Mrs. Belle Naylor of Route 2, Roseboro, Mrs. Fletcher Williford of Route 5, Dunn, Mrs. Thurman Holland of Clinton.
