Mrs. M. Bassett is Laid to Rest
The funeral of Mrs. Margaret Bassett, who died Sunday night at 8:05 o’clock, at her residence, 2114 Tenth avenue, after an illness of eight weeks, took place this afternoon at 3:30 o’clock from the late residence. Rev. E.H. McGehee conducted the services and the interment was in the Riverdale cemetery.
Mrs. Bassett was 63 years of age, and is survived by her husband, Mr. Jesse Bassett, and eight children, Mrs. Henry Bassett, of Muscogee county, Messrs. James, George. Lazrus Bassett, Mrs. Missouri Tharp and Mrs. P.J. Wiggins, all of Columbus, and Mrs. J.C. Copeland, of Birmingham. The deceased was a devout member of the Methodist church and leaves a large number of friends.

Mrs. Bassitt Died Sunday Night at Her Residence,

Mrs. Marguerite Bassett died at her residence 2114 Tenth avenue Sunday night at 8:05 o’clock, after an illness of eight weeks.
Mrs. Bassett was 62 years old and besides her husband, is survived by eight children, Henry Bassett of Muscogee county, James, George and Lewis Bassett, Mrs. Lydia Kemp, Mrs. Missouri Tharp, Mrs. P.J. Wiggins of Columbus.
The funeral was held yesterday afternoon from the residence and interment was in Riverdale cemetery. The services were conducted by Rev. E. H. McGhee.
