Death of Mrs. Ida Rogers at Mongo
Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Rogers, aged 91, of Mongo was held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Methodist church in Mongo, Rev. Clarence Robinson of LaGrange officiated and the burial was in the Rogers cemetery near her home. Mrs. Rogers died June 20 in the home of a niece, Mrs. Etta Seaburn, in Mongo. She was born October 22, 1854, in Ontario county, New York, the daughter of Lester and Clarinda Bassett and came to Springfield township with her parents at the age of two years. She was married to Albert Rogers February 23, 1879. He died several years ago.
