Melvin Ulysses Bass
JANUARY 3, 1942 ? NOVEMBER 25, 2021
Melvin Bass, 79 of Kingwood, Texas passed away November 25, 2021. He was born in Palestine, Texas on January 3, 1942. He was married to Naomi Lee Bass for 52 years. Melvin Bass worked in masonry for Winco Masonry. He was a member of the Texas Deer Association and had a passion for Raising and hunting deer.
He is preceded in death by his wife: Dee Bass, parents: Arthur and Inez Bass, son: Boogie Rutland, grandson: Jason Rutland, sister: Mary Lou Bass, Brothers: A.L. Bass, Jr., Kenneth Bass, Joe Bass, Wade Bass and Jack Bass.
He is survived by his sister: Nora Nixon, two grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00AM, Tuesday, December 7,2021 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home. Graveside to follow.
