- Roena Bassett 3B32541 married Daniel Richetson Potter about 1838 in Bennington, Wyoming County, New York. He
was born 2 Mar 1798 in Potter's Hollow, Albany County, New York. He died 27 Jul 1887 in New London, Waupaca County, Wisconsin. He is buried at Floral Hill Cemetery in New London, Waupaca County, Wisconsin.

MISC: All the lumber in those days was cut at small local mills, and Daniel POTTER ran one for different owners at various places. In the early "30's," he lived at Marilla, Erie County, New York and carried on a saw mill at what was called the Indian Reservation. He ran an ashery as well as a saw mill at Folsomdale, the Clark Mills at Lancaster, in 1849, at Gaines, and at other places in New York. In the autumn of 1859, he went to Wisconsin to visit his
two sons, Humphrey, and William (sons by his first wife), but returned a year later. In about 1859 or 1860 with his third wife and children he moved permanently to Mukwa (now New London), where he died.
