Ives, of Algona, Iowa, which occurred simultaneously in an accident the nature of which Mr. Bassett did not know. Mrs. Ives is a sister of Mr. Bassett. He left immediately for Algona to attend the funeral and to learn the particulars of the double tragedy. It is expected that he will return to Jacksonville today.
