HARTFORD - Jessica's life began on July 2, 1983, in St. Joseph, the daughter of Rhonda Bassett and Ronald "Buck" Fuller. She was a 2001 graduate of Hartford High School. Jessica enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, writing poetry and shopping.
Her loving family includes her daughter, Destiny Sikes; her mother, Rhonda (Scott Heppler) Bassett; her father, Ronald "Buck" Fuller; sister, Irene Colter; brother, Jared (Veronica) Teeters,; husband, Jerry Sikes; nieces, Breanna and Alyssa; stepfather, Roger Fisher; mother-in-law, Diane; grandmother, Gail Fuller; and grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.
Jessica passed away on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Hope, grandmother Fay and papa Ronald Fuller Sr.
Her family will gather with friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday at Yazel & Clark Chapel, Dowagiac, where her funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, led by Pastor Ernie Riggs. She will be laid to rest in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to her family in care of her mother.
