Marion E. Miller (1925-2012)
The death of Marion Evelyn Miller of Florenceville occurred on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born in Centreville on February 10, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Florence (Smith) Bassett. She was also predeceased by her husband Burton Miller; 2 brothers, Harold and Garth.
Marion is survived by her 2 children, Wayne Miller (Nancy) and Teresa ?Terry? Dickinson (Edward); 2 grandchildren, Peter Dickinson (Patricia) and Michael Dickinson; 5 great grandchildren, Julia, Abigail, Clara, Willa and Bronwyn Dickinson; 1 brother, Frank Bassett (Sheila) and many extended family and close friends.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Saturday, December 8, 2012 from 2-4 pm. A funeral service will be held Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 3:00 pm from Faith Memorial United Church with Pastor Gerald Blaquiere officiating. A private interment will be held at a later date in the Lower Florenceville Baptist Cemetery. Donations made to DunRoamin or to Faith Memorial United Church would be appreciated.
