Mary Comstock
SPRINGFIELD Mary (Dalnodar) Comstock, 90, of Reed's Landing, died here Friday. She was a teacher in the New York and New Jersey areas for many years, retiring in the early 1960s. Born in McBain, Mich., she was an accomplished cellist. She leaves her husband of 65 years, Henry Bassett Comstock of Springfield; a son, Robert H. of Andover; a daughter, Carol Faille of Enfield; two brothers, Charles Dalnodar of New Jersey and Richard Dalnodar of New York; a sister, Frances Leach of North Carolina; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be Tuesday afternoon in the Longfellow Room at Reed's Landing, Springfield. There are no calling hours, and Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels of Enfield is in charge. Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
