He was a brother by the name of James Bassett, But to the best of my knowledge he is dead for some yaers. I lived in Atchison 1880 until 1892 and I did not know any one by the name of James Bassett. I have not seen my father for some years but I am sure his bros is dead. Our folks is from New York State, my Grandfather name was Andrew Bassett. I will tell you where there is a James Bassett. His address if Hiawatha Bornw Co. Kan. I worked at his service for a living and ran from K. City Mo to Hiawatha their is a lot of Bassetts at Afton Wyoming I worked in that county once but don't know to hear they or from if you learn any information from this letter that will cause you to want to know more write me at 418 State Ave. Kan City, Kansas.
