BASSETT, Chester Ross - 89, Stanburn, Lunenburg, died July 21, 2000, in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, Lunenburg Co. Born in Marble Head, Mass., he was the son of the late Arthur and Ethel (Langille) Bassett. Surviving are his wife Katherine (MacLean), Barss Corner; son, Donald, Stanburn, Lunenburg Co.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service 2 p.m. Tuesday in Barss Corner United Baptist Church, Rev. Greg Denton officiating. Burial in Barss Corner Community Cemetery. Donations to The Arthritis Society. Arrangements by the family.
