Charles T. Bassett Dies In Texas, After Long Illness
Charles Thompson Bassett, oldest son of Dr. and Mrs. Frank H. Bassett, died at Austwell, Texas, Tuesday in the 17th year other complications.
The family moved to Texas last winter and Charles had been gradually failing in health ever since he went to Texas.
He was a fine and most promising boy, tall and handsome and until taken ill was seemingly in perfect health. He was a member of the First Baptist church from early childhood.
The body will be brought to this city tomorrow morning for interment in the Thompson lot in Riverside cemetery. He was a grandson of the late Charles A. Thompson.
