BASSETT - Rosemarie D., formerly of Valley Stream, NY on October 23, 2007 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Bassett. Loving Mother of Kenneth Bassett, Patrice Nelson, and Christine Sabourin. Dear Sister of Madelin Swarckof and Bernadette Yelsits. Cherished grandmother of 6, and great-grandmother of 3. She was a long time member of the American Legion Auxiliary Valley Stream Andrew Thatcher post and past president of the Nassau County American Legion Auxiliary (1993-1994). Reposing Moloney's Lake Funeral Home, 132 Ronkonkoma Ave., where a religious service will be held Thursday. Funeral Mass Friday 10 AM at St. Joseph R.C. Church, lake Ronkonkoma, NY.
