Elsie L. Bass Weigman

ALLISON ? Elsie Louise Bass Wiegman, 93, of Allison, died Friday, Dec. 14, at the Rehabilitation Center of Allison.
She was born Nov. 20, 1919, in New Hartford, daughter of Lee and Lola Cortright Bass. She married Christ H. Wiegman on May 19, 1944, at St. James Lutheran Church Parsonage.
A 1938 graduate of New Hartford High School, Mrs. Wiegman worked at the ASCS office from 1939 to 1950, then helped on the farm. She also managed the AMVETS club for 10 years. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survived by: the family of Doyle and Ann Brocka of Allison; two sisters, Rosalee McMullen and Kay Masters, both of Cedar Falls; and a sister-in-law, Lucille Bass of New Hartford.
Preceded in death by: three brothers, Harlan, Bud and Billy Bass; three sisters, Betty Buss, Lavida Davidson and Linda Bass in infancy; and four brothers-in-law, Roger Masters, Raymond McMullen, Alden Davidson and Donald Buss.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, rural Greene, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Allison.
