Nellie Bass Cooper
WELLFORD -- Nellie Estelle Bass Cooper, 77, of 1871 Ballenger Road, died June 29th at Mary Black Hospital following surgery. She was a daughter of the late Arthur Garfield and Mary Caldonia Bass and the wife of Thomas F. Cooper. Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Inman First Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Richard Thomas Cooper and Gary Steven Cooper; three daughters, Dorothy Anne Norton, Mary Irene Gosnell and Martha Ellen Covil; four grandchildren, Matt Smith, Justin Carter, Jessica Claghorn and Adrienne Gosnell; three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Smith, Seth Smith and Regan Claghorn; a brother, Furman C. Bass; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. today, Friday, July 1st at the Inman Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Ansel Norris. Visitation will be immediately after the service at the graveside.
The family is at the residence.
