Evelyn Ruth (Bessette) Pilon
EVELYN RUTH (BESSETTE) PILON, 70, of the Fisher Pond Road, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, May 16, 1999, at her home. She was born October 14, 1928, the daughter of the late Orice J. and Anna Belle (Jacques) Bessette. Evelyn found great pleasure with her family and was an avid bingo player. She was a communicant of Holy Angels Church. Survivors include her husband, Edward Joseph Pilon, her son, Edward A. Pilon of Swanton, her daughter, Rachel A. and her husband, Frank B. Carriveau of Montpelier, her grandchildren, Trevor Allen Pilon and Ian Tomas Pilon, both of Swanton and Frank Matthew Carriveau of Barre and Rebeeca Ann Carriveau of Montpelier. She also, leaves a sister Doris Barker of Michigan and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Orice John Bessette and a sisters, Loretta Diamond. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Holy Angels Church. Interment will be in the family lot in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Vt. Affiliate, Inc., 77 Hegeman Ave., Colchester, Vt. 05446. There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are by the Heald Funeral Home, 87 So. Main St., St. Albans.
