She previously worked at Freeman Manufacturing, Sturgis. Her first husband, Roscoe Bassett, died in 1967. Her second husband, Lauren E. Anderson, died in 1978. Surviving are three daughters, Garnetta Bassett Kasdorf and Molly Bassett, both of Sturgis, and Ilene Bassett Hahn of Bronson, Mich.; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. Services Saturday at Hackman-Foglesong Funeral home, Sturgis. Calling Saturday. Burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Sturgis.
