Miss Ernestine Sargeant Marrys Larry James Bass
Miss Ernestine Sargent became the bride of Larry James Bass in a ceremony at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3, in the Hillcrest Baptist Church. Reverend Thomas Tipton read the marriage vows and the background music was furnished by Mrs. Tipton.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sargent, Rush Springs, and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Viola Bass, 211 South Husband, Stillwater.
The bride wore a blue, lightweight suit with white accessories and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. Mrs. Douglas Raiford who was the Matron of Honor and only attendant of the bride, wore a dress of blue and white cotton with a pink carnation corsage. John Wayne Howell was best man.
The couple will make their home in Stillwater where the bridegroom will continued his studies at Oklahoma State University.
