Anthony Wayne Bass
Anthony Wayne Bass, age 62 of Estill Springs, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. A native of Franklin County, Tony was born in Winchester on March 22, 1957 to the late Wayne Bass and Ophelia (Teague) Blackburn. He had worked in the construction industry and had last been employed as a foreman. Tony had a way of always making people laugh. He enjoyed working on projects and the great outdoors, whether it be boating and water skiing at the lake or spending time in the mountains. Tony most of all loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Bass. Tony is survived by his loving children, Shilo Krug of Charlotte, Tennessee, Samuel (Meghan) Bass of Baldwinsville, New York, and Sarah (Lee) Malard of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, C.J., Susannah, and Mary Krug, Thomas Bass, Kelso and Raylan Malard, and another on the way; and companion, Lora Roark of Estill Springs. Visitation will be from 11:00 am-12:45 pm on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at 1:00 pm at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
