Margaret Kennedy Bass
Margaret Kennedy Bass, 82, Siesta Key, died Aug. 27, 2005. She was born July 12, 1923, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and came to Sarasota in 1987 from Bedford, N.Y., when she retired as merchandise manager of women's wear for Burberrys of London. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Alex; a stepson, Stanley A. of Riverdale, N.Y.; a sister, Patricia Lewis of Dublin, Ireland; a brother, Thomas J. Kennedy Jr. of Manhattan, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. No services are planned. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, is in charge.
