Gary Allen Bass
Gary Allen Bass, age 74 of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN.
A celebration of his life will be held 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Pastor Jacqueline Pitt Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery. Masonic services will be held 6:00 p.m. Monday evening. The Bass family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday afternoon.
Gary entered this life on May 15, 1944 in Detroit, MI, son to the late Samuel and Mary Poppe Bass. Gary held his masonic membership in the Roseville Lodge #522 and Eastern Star Jefferson Chapter 489. Gary had a passion for woodworking, loved his log cabin home, and loved his puppy dog, Chico. Gary will greatly be missed by his loving family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his son, Shannon Narciso Medina, sisters, Geraldine Bass and Barbara Jean Graichan.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Rowena Bass; children, Todd Garrison, David Bass (Paula), Julie Ann Garrison Miles (Jon), Dennis Bass (Shannon), Danny Bass (Nancy), and daughter in law, Lisa Medina. Gary also leaves behind twenty-two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
