Billy Ray Bass
Mr. Billy Ray Bass, 81 of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life Tuesday ~ April 14, 2026 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Bill was born September 25, 1944 in Harrisburg, Arkansas the son of Ray Bass and Faye (Hooper) Bass. His parents have preceded him in death. Bill was also preceded by his wife, Joyce (Seabourn) Bass, and one daughter, Shelia Qualls, one brother, Bobby Joe Bass, two sisters: Brenda Bass and Betty Masters. Bill spent most of his adult life farming. He is an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Harrisburg, Arkansas. He was also active in Harrisburg Senior Life Center and loved competing in the Bean Bag games. He enjoyed outdoor activities and visiting with family and friends. He is survived by two sons: Kenneth (Christy) Bass of Harrisburg and James (Constance) Vannatter, four daughters: Kim (Richard) Drum of Harrisburg, Tina Vannatter, Annetta Sharp, Darlene Bell, two sisters: Paulette Worley and Beverly (Bass) Harris both of Harrisburg, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday April 17 at Jackson's Funeral Home from 1:00 until service time. Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P. M. in the chapel at Jackson's. Interment will be in Bay Village Cemetery. Mr. Randy Mills and Mr. Byron Neal will conduct the service. Active Pallbearers are: Tyler Drum, Dustin Drum, Garrett Drum, Caden Drum, Logan Bryant, and Johnny MacBrown. Honorary Pallbearers are: Paul Masters Drake Masters, Timmy Bass, Shawn McElhannon, Grandsons, Bean Bag Baseball Team., Arkansas. Arrangements are by Jackson's Funeral Home.
