Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Campground United Methodist Church in Walnut with burial in the church cemetery. Ripley (Mississippi) Funeral Home has charge. He was a Baptist. Mr. Bass, the husband of LaRue Bass, also leaves a daughter, Wilma Uselton of Drummonds, Tennessee; two sons, J. C. Bass of Memphis and L. B. Bass of Atoka, Tennessee; a sister, Minnie V. Mathis of Corinth, Mississippi; two brothers, Gene Bass of Walnut and Leon Bass of Corinth, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
