Funeral service will be 2pm Saturday July 5, 2014 at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Burial will follow in Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie. The family will receive friends for 1 hour before the service. Lucky was born June 30, 1943 in Sedalia, MO, the son of Ervin Fredrick and Marie Frances (Long) Bass. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a mechanic for Owens Corning Fiberglass, Kansas City, KS. He was united in marriage on July 29, 1995 to Mary (Martinez) Bass. She survives of the home. He was preceded in death by his son Ervin Fredrick Bass III on January 25, 2010. Other survivors include; one daughter, Rochelle Montgomery, Lawrence, KS; one step-son, David Martinez, Tonganoxie; four step-daughters, Billie Davidson, Ottawa , KS, Sonia Dunavin, Lecompton, KS, Tonia Dunavin, Perry, KS, Paula Dunavin, Wichita, KS; one brother, Charlie Fisher, Independence, MO; 18 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
