Mary Virginia Bass, 73, Tonganoxie, KS, passed away September 25, 2022 at her home.
Funeral service will be 11 am Saturday October 1, 2022 at the Quisenberry Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday evening 5-7 pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.
Mary was born October 19, 1948 the daughter of William and Dorothy (Smith) Martinez. Before retiring she worked as the lead in the returns department at the JC Penny Distribution Center, Lenexa, KS. She was a member of the ABATE of Kansas, and the Mid South Mile. She was preceded in death by her husband Ervin (Lucky) Bass on July 1, 2014.
Survivors include; one son, David Martinez, Tonganoxie; three daughters, Billie Davidson, Baldwin, KS, Sonia Dunavin, Lawrence, KS, Tonia Dunavin, Perry, KS; one brother, Jack Martinez, Buffalo, MO; one sister, Patricia Wilson, Butler, MO; 11 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
