  Notes	Windham County Observer, Putnam, Connecticut, Wednesday, 7 May 1913 Edward Bassett Edward Bassett, 57, died at the home of his son, A.M. Bassett, Warrenville, at 6:15 Friday night of pneumonia. He had been sick a week but was in bed only two days. Mr. Bassett was a native of Bristol, this state, son of Zadock and Hannah (Bassett) Bassett. He lived the greater portion of his life in Bristol where he was employed in shops. About nine years ago he went to Warrenville where he made his home with his son. Mr. Bassett was a prominent member of the Grange, belonged to Pomona and the State Grante and held offices in all of them. He leaves a widow and two sons, A.M. Bassett of Warrenville and Frank Bassett of Terryville and seven grandchildren. The funeral services were held at the home of A.M. Bassett Sunday afternoon at 3 o?clock, conducted by Rev. B.C. Bugbee.
