Doris Rose Bassett
DOVER - Doris Rose Bassett, 85, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at her home following a period of failing health. Born March 23, 1932 in Dover, N.H., she was the daughter of the late George and Sarah (Oates) Bassett.
Doris had worked as an operator for AT&T for 33 years. She enjoyed traveling, bingo, and trips to Foxwoods.
Members of her family include her sisters Shirley Davis of Dover, N.H.; Roberta Robie of Dover, N.H.; and Barbara Durant of Tulsa, Okla.; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings Gordon, Harold, Walter, Herbert, and Ralph Bassett, and Louise Gobbi.
SERVICES: Family and friends may visit Friday, July 7, 2017, from 9-11 a.m., with a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover, N.H. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Dover. Please go to www.taskerfh.com to sign the online guestbook.
