Survivors include his wife, Sue Bass, of Nederland; children, Lisa Fenner and husband, David, of Beaumont, and Daniel Bass and wife, Katherine, of Austin; step-sons, Randy Perkins and Gary Perkins, both of Nederland; grandchildren, Jordin, Alex, Nathan, Adam, Owen, Walt, Hayden, and Ren; great-grandchildren, Harper and Lane; brothers, James, David, and Mark Bass, of Beaumont, Michael Bass and wife, Renae, of China, and Brandon Bass, of Bridge City; and sister, Nadalie Warner and husband, James, of Nederland. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Debbie Sloane, Sandy Gage, and Vicky Bass; and brothers, Jerry and Terry Bass. A gathering of Mr. Bass's family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m., with his funeral service at 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2022, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His cremation arrangements will be handled through Broussard's Crematorium, Beaumont.
