Born in Chester County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Bradshaw and Mrs. Harriet Pauline Hall Roach. She was a bookkeeper for Palmetto Candy and Tobacco Co., and a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Exchangettes. She was a member of Arsenal Hill ARP Church and Circle No 3. Surviving is a son, James R. Bass of Lexington, a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth B. Thrash of Columbia, a brother, Thomas B. Roach Jr. of Chapin. Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
