Esther Sullivan, age 97, of Napavine, Washington passed away on Feburary 15, 2005 at Sharon Care in Centralia. She was born May 16, 1907 at Boistfort, Washington to James & Catherine (Gunn) Bassett. She was the youngest and last surviving of six children.
Esther was a registered nurse and spent most of her life taking care of others. She worked for the old St. Helens Hospital and several nursing homes in the area. She was a past member of the Rebekah's (Napavine) and spent time at the Winlock Senior Center. Esther had a great love for God, family and friends.
She is survived by her loving son, Warren C. Sullivan of Napavine; grandchildren; Vicke Obrist of Napavine, Jeff of Montana, Diane, Randle and Tammy Clark of Poulsbo, Washington. Eleven great-grandchildren; Kristy, Ken, Lana, Brandy, Heather, Jennifer, Gina, Vanessa, Melinda, Eric and Adam. Numerous great-great-grandchildren. Special family friends Jim & Ruth Clark of Napavine and Mel & Jean Bluhm of Chehalis. Esther is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Herbert, James, Stewart and Homer; one sister, Temple (Bahr); granddaughter Jonelle (Sullivan) Medlock; daughters-in-law Virginia and Dorothy; grandson-in-law Ken Obrist.
At her request, no services will be held. Esther has gone home to be with the Angels, her family and friends will miss her. Cremation arrangements by Sticklin Funeral Chapel.
