Raymond Roger Bessette
Raymond Roger Bessette, aged 54 years, of Wareham, formerly of Middleboro, died, suddenly, on Mon. January 4, 2010, at Tobey Hospital. Born in Middleboro, he was the son of the late Robert A and Mary-Lou (Casey) Bessette. Educated in Middleboro, he had graduated from Middleboro High School, class of 1973. Raymond worked as a stone mason for many years, and recently had worked for South East Fence Company, in Lakeville, for 10 years. Raymond was a true outdoorsman, and was an avid fisherman, including deep-sea and fresh water. He loved camping, and had taken white water rafting trips. Survivors include his longtime companion; Evie Card of Taunton , two daughters; Crystal Boogades of Tampa, FL, and Danielle Dunham of Manchester, NH, two brothers; Robert A Bessette Jr. of Middleboro, Richard J Bessette of Carver, one sister; Renee Feeley of Middleboro, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was the brother of the late Ronald D Bessette. Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend, will be held on Sun. Jan. 10th from 2-4 pm, with a service to follow at 4 pm, at the Egger Funeral Home, 61 Pearl St. Middleboro. Burial will take place at a later date.
