  Notes	Macon Telegraph Bassett BYRON, April 3 – S.M. Bassett died at 8 o’clock this morning at his home three miles south of Byron. He was stricken with paralysis at 9 o’clock last night and was unconscious until his death. He was 53 years old and leaves a wife and a grown son. He was one of the wealthiest citizens of Houston county. The burial will take place at Shiloh church, four miles south of here, at 1 o’clock Thursday afternoon.
