Born in Pawtucket, the son of Alice M. (Carter) Bessette of Land O?Lakes and the late Maurice J. Bessette, he had resided in Florida since 1995. He was a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran. Mr. Bessette was the proprietor of Nu View Landscape, Attleboro until retiring and was previously a mail carrier for the US Postal Service, Attleboro. Besides his mother he leaves three chidlren, Lori A. Bessette, Amy L. Gray and Ronald J. Bessette all of Land O?Lakes, FL; two sons-in-law, Steven R. Gray and Brian Fisk; three grandchildren, Kyle Gray, Byrson Fisk and Bowen Fish, and his former wife, Kathleen Harrop. Services with Military Honors will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at William W. Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave. Pawtucket. Burial will follw at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visitation Tuesday 5-8 pm. Please omit flowers, gifts may be made to the family.
