Ruth P. Leduc, Malone, Dies At Age of 87
Ruth P. LeDuc, 87, Malone, died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Warren and Margaret Brand, Webster Street Road.
The funeral was at 10 a.m. today at Notre Dame Church, with the Rev. Arthur LaBaff officiating. Spring burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Arrangements were with the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home. The family was to receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Brand following the funeral. Contributions may be made to the Ursuline Nuns Retirement Fund.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Brand and Mrs. Kenneth (Joanne) Charlebois, Coconut Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Two grandsons, Peter Charlebois and Gerald Brand, died before her.
Born in Malone on Dec. 21, 1903, a daughter of William and Nettie Bessette Lee, she attended local schools. She married Benjamin O. LeDuc on Oct. 18, 1926, at Notre Dame Church. He died Oct. 24, 1968.
Mrs. LeDuc was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society.
