Lillian M. (Lachapelle) Bessette
Lillian M. (Lachapelle) Bessette, 90, of East Hartford, died Thursday, (November 23, 2000) in a local nursing home. Born in Jewett City, she was the wife of the late Leonard A. Bessette. Mrs. Bessette was a charter member of the East Hartford North End Senior Citizens and a member of St. Mary's Church. She is survived by her two sons and their wives, Robert and Gail Bessette of Glastonbury, Raymond and Janet Bessette of Simsbury; her daughter and her husband, Dorothy and Joseph Rankl of Avon; her brother, Raymond Lachapelle of Jewett City; eight grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, November 27, 10:30 a.m. from the Callahan Funeral Home, 1602 Main St., E. Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. in St Mary's Church, E. Hartford. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, E. Hartford. The family will receive friends Monday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
