Plainfield - Mary Rose Bessette, 71, of Plainfield passed away October 21, 2015. She was born August 15, 1944 in Sterling a daughter of the late Ulderic and Irene (Turcotte) Bessette and had resided in Plainfield for most of her life. Mary Rose enjoyed shopping and being in the sun. Summer was her favorite season. She lived and loved for her children and grandchildren. She leaves her son and daughter in law Bruce and Cindy Disco and their children Regan and Morgan Disco of Dayville; her daughter Denise Ormstead and her children Gianna, and twins Frankie and Daniel of Dayville. A sister Doris Whitehead of Voluntown. She was predeceased by a sister Claire Kinne. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday (10-29-15) at 10:00AM in St. John the Apostle Church, Plainfield. Burial in St. John Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
