Mrs. Lena Wickham
Mrs. Lena B. Wickham, of 1431 Genesee Street, widow of Edward Wickham, died yesterday at St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital Center after a long illness.
She was born in Forestport, daughter of Frank and May Rockwell Bassett. For a few years she was employed by the Hotel Albert, Forestport.
She moved to Utica in 1917 and since then had been a cook in private homes in Utica. She was most recently employed by Miss Mary O’Connor of Utica.
She was married to Edward Wickham in 1940. He died in 1949.
She leaves a sister, Mrs. Laura D. Rogers of Utica and two brothers, Clarence E. Bassett of Forestport and F. Wade Bassett of Fulton.
A private funeral was held from the Trainor Funeral Home, Boonville. Burial was in Alder Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Edward Wickham
Mrs. Edward Wickham, 78, of 1431 Genesee Street, Utica, died Tuesday at St. Luke’s Memorial Hospital Center, New Hartford, after a long illness.
The former Lena Bassett, she was born in Forestport, January 28, 1896, daughter of Frank and May Rockwell Bassett.
For several years she was an employee of the Hotel Albert, Forestport. Since moving to Utica in 1917, she had been employed as a domestic.
She and Mr. Wickham were married in 1940 in Utica. He died in April, 1949.
She leaves a sister, Laura D. Rogers, Utica; and two brothers, Clarence E. Bassett, Forestport, and F. Wade Bassett, Fulton.
Funeral services were held at the convenience of the family at the Trainor Funeral Home, Boonville, Burial was in Alder Creek Cemetery.
