  Notes	Madison Enterprise-Recorder, Madison, Florida, May 2, 1958 Mrs. Gordon Bass Mrs. Gordon Bass, age 32, was found dead in bed Monday at her Troy Road home four miles south of Madison of what was apparently a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Her husband, Gordon Bass found the body when he returned for lunch about noon, and called the officers. Sheriff Moore and County Judge Earp made an investigation, and the Judge determined an inquest unnecessary. Mrs. Bass had been in ill health for some time. Besides her husband, she is survived by a young son, James Gordon Bass.
