Brian was born Nov. 24, 1965, in Sauk County, son of Charles and Patricia Ruda Bass. He was an avid sportsman. He loved to hunt, fish, cut wood and mushroom hunt. He loved his dogs and enjoyed watching and feeding birds. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Bass, Portage; his daughter, Mackenzie, Madison; his sisters and brother, Kathleen (Gunder) Holverson, Lyndon Station, Geraldine (Gary) Hansen, Wisconsin Dells, and Leon (Rebbecca) Bass, Portage; grandparents, Leah Ruda, Texas, and Viola Dorow, Baraboo; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Chuck, on Oct. 28, 2000, and by his fianc and best friend, Connie Bambrough, three years ago. A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 8 Thursday at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage. Inurnment will be private.
