  Notes	Find-a-Grave Obituary Claude Bass Claude Arnold Bass, 66, of Pisgah, died Thursday, October 30, 1997 in a Fort Payne Hospital. Funeral services were held Sunday, November 2, at 2:30 p.m. CST at Macklin Baptist Church with the Revs. Billy Anderton, Bud Durham officiating. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery with Kerby Funeral Home of Henagar in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Lorene Heard Bass of Pisgah; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Janice Bass of Henagar, James and Patsy Bass of Henagar, Harold and Annette Bass of Dutton and one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Jimmy Garland of Pisgah; two brothers, Rev. William R. ?Bill? Bass of Pisgah and Charles Bass of Ider; two sisters, Mae Gant and Gerlene Darwin, both of Pisgah; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by parents Hal and Pearl Bass; two sons, Johnny and Clinton Bass, brother, John Thomas Bass and a sister, Sarah Bass.
