Irvin Jordan
Irvin M. Jordan, 79, of 2811 Branchwood Drive, died Friday in Wesley Long Hospital.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Jordan, a native of Caswell County, had lived 38 years in Greensboro. He was a retired U.S. Postal Service clerk and member of Guilford Park Presbyterian Church. He was a World War II veteran.
Survivors are wife, Mrs. Frances B. Jordan; son, Robert I. Jordan of McLeansville; daughter, Mrs. Ann Jordan Mallard of Charlotte; brothers, Raymond Jordan of Columbia, S.C. and Jaqmes Jordan of Charlotte; sisters, Mrs. Rosa Vernon of Milton, Mrs. Eloise Bryant and Mrs. Mary Pegram of Burlington; four grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Venture in Faith Campaign at his church.
Hanes-Lineberry North Elm Street Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
