Funeral for Harry Manning Bassett, 1354 Virginia St., who died yesterday
morning en route to city hospital after a short illness, will be held 2
o'clock this afternoon at Striffler Chapel. Burial will be in Riverdale
Cemetery. Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Carolyn Henderson Bassett, a son,
Jack Berner Bassett, a sister, Mrs. W. B. Brittain, all of Columbus, and three
nephews.
Mr. Bassett was born in Columbus Nov. 13, 1893, a son of Henry and Lila
Manning Bassett. He was past master of the Columbian Lodge No. 7 of the Masons
and was sec. at the time of his death. Other Masonic orders listed.
